Here are some of the most common questions about our handcrafted western furniture, custom production process and delivery options.
Normally, we use Pinero and Montero, but you can select from a large selection of wood species. All handcrafted wood furniture at JKM Western Furniture Company is built from 100% solid timber wood. It is kiln dried to our specifications. We use no commercial wood products.
All of our handcrafted solid wood furniture is finished with a hand-rubbed, in-house color mix stain created specifically for each design. This ensures a thorough saturation and gives each piece a unique hand-finished character. No two pieces have an identical machine-like finished quality, which adds to the distinctiveness of our product line.
All of our solid wood handcrafted furniture is made in America.
Our distribution warehouse is located in Laredo, Texas. As soon as your order is ready for delivery, they will contact you within the delivery time frame.
We do not buy and sell furniture like stores or retailers. We are the manufacturer, and there is a waiting time because we do not keep anything in stock. It is all custom made. Our standard delivery time is 8 to 10 weeks. However, if you need quicker delivery, we can arrange to expedite shipping.
Deliveries are readily available through affordable, licensed and bonded subcontractors, and can generally be accommodated at your convenience to suit your schedule. Delivery prices are quoted upon request.
Absolutely. Visit our JKM Furniture websites and you can select from a large selection of furniture, or you can custom design by selecting your own fabrics and colors. Send us your fabrics and we will incorporate them into your furniture.
Yes. Drop-ship services are available from our warehouse to your door. Please select the handcrafted wood furniture products that interest you by their style number, and provide your city and zip code. We will be happy to quote you a curbside drop-ship freight rate.
Absolutely. Custom furniture is our backbone. Tell us what you are looking for, or share your furniture ideas, and we will guide you through the process with detailed drawings and information.
Absolutely. As a veteran, we are proud to offer whatever discounts we can manage to any service member, retired or active. In fact, if you are confined to a wheelchair for any reason, including military or cowboy injury, and need a special type of furniture, I will make it for free.
